POSITIVE UPDATES ABOUT HOSPITAL CAPACITY AND SOCIAL DISTANCING

The coronavirus has affected New York City considerably, and as more patients are admitted for hospitalized care, there has been an increased concern for reaching capacity at New York hospitals. However, there are significant efforts being made to increase hospital capacity, with the governor of New York even claiming that these efforts are “headed in the right direction.”

The virus is also doubling every 4-5 days, instead of the estimated 2 days, which could be an indication of social distancing “maybe working,” as the New York Governor Andrew Cuomo reports.
