PREPARING FOR POSSIBLY CYCLIC OUTBREAKS OF COVID-19
According to Dr. Anthony Fauci, head of the National Institute for Allergy and Infectious Diseases, there seems to be some sort of pattern of COVID-19 outbreaks. This was demonstrated in the outbreaks in the southern hemisphere, which Dr. Fauci leads to believe that the coronavirus could be seasonal.
There is still research undergoing on this topic, but before such information can be confirmed, the U.S has taken some measures to provide relief from and control the virus, including a $2 trillion relief package. This 880 page bill includes:
Hospital funding
Emergency loans for businesses
Relief checks to laid-off workers
Better unemployment insurance
So although the nature of the virus is still being analyzed, as well as the state of the country, at least Americans are ensured some safeties during this troubling time.
